As part of the prestigious USL W League, the club provides one of the most effective and proven pathways to U.S. college soccer—offering unmatched visibility to college coaches and scouts.
The USL W League is recognized as one of the top women’s development leagues in the country, featuring a highly competitive environment that attracts elite talent—including national team players Women’s World Cup youth players, and numerous NCAA Division I athletes. With all matches professionally recorded, players benefit from essential footage for highlight reels and direct scouting evaluation, making it the ideal platform for college exposure.
The USL W League is not only the premier pathway to college soccer—it is also a premier platform for professional player development. In just one season, 70+ league alumni made the jump to the professional level, demonstrating the league’s ability to prepare players for the next stage of their careers.
For FC Miami City players who wish to progress beyond college, we offer a direct connection to our professional team in France, Thonon Évian Grand Genève FC. This pathway opens the door for selected players to compete at the highest level of European soccer.

Thonon Evian Grand Genève FC is a professional club competing in the French Division 2 Féminine, consistently challenging top women’s teams across Europe. The club’s identity is rooted in international recruitment, bringing together elite talent from around the world. The 2024 roster reflects this vision, featuring 11 foreign players from the U.S., Africa, and Europe, including 6 full international players.
In 2025, the club features three American players, including Marley Salveter, a former FC Miami City player.
This diverse lineup underscores Thonon Evian’s commitment to building a globally competitive team.
FIRST PRO CONTRACT IN FRANCE FOR MARLEY SALVETER
After a standout season with FC Miami City, Marley earned a summer trial in France with the club’s professional partner, Thonon Evian Grand Genève, culminating in her first professional contract. Her journey was fully supported by Strive Football Group, whose network—including FC Miami City and Thonon Evian Grand Genève—provides players with global opportunities.
LINEA'S STORY: FROM FC MIAMI CITY TO PRO SOCCER IN EUROPE
After shining for FC Miami City in the 2023 USL W season, Linea Joergensen secured a professional contract in 2024 with Thonon Evian Grand Genève FC, competing in Division 2 in France.

| Registration | NO WALK IN REGISTRATION. There will be no refunds for any cancellation prior to the event/training/tryouts start date. Similarly, there will be no refunds for players who do not show up. |
| What is included? | The participation in the tryouts. |
| Drinks | Water fountains will be accessible to participants. |
| What to wear | Field players and Goalkeepers: An FC Miami City Nike T-shirt will be lent to each player at check-in and must be returned after the tryout session. Players must bring and wear their own black shorts and black socks. |
