FC Miami City 2017: Defenders announcement

MIAMI, FLA. – FC Miami City today announced the signing of eight players, bringing the PDL expansion team’s roster to 11.

This year we mainly focused on a mix between returning players, Academy members and rookies.

It was very important from the start to have a relationship between FC Miami City, the PDL team and the Paris Saint-Germain AcademyFC Miami City Head Coach Wagneau Eloi said. “All the players coming from the Academy shows our commitment to continuing that integration and shows Academy players that they’ll always have a chance of moving up the ranks. The Champions (FC Miami City player’s nickname) give them that stepping stone moving forward, so I think it’s a credit to the Academy and the individual players.
